History
C.S.I Ewart Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Annanagar, is an offshoot of Ewart Girls School, Purasawalkam started in the year 1988 as their Platinum Jubilee Project. The school had a humble beginning with just a handful of 20 students. The Almighty God has enabled us to grow in number and the school which was started in a rented building was shifted in1990 to the present premises. It was initially started as a Boy’s institution but in the academic year 1997-1998 it turned out to be a Co-Educational Institution. The School was recognized as a Matriculation School in 1993 and was upgraded as Higher Secondary in June 2000.
